Fall is my favorite time of year, and I figured since I posted some pictures of the trail I walk the dogs on a few months ago, I’d share some fall pictures, too!  It was a great day for a walk today, as even though it was overcast, it wasn’t windy and the temperature was just right.     Happy Fall!

We took the dogs on a nice hike today, at a dog-friendly state park. The dogs had a lot of fun (and so did my husband and I), and the pups were thrilled to discover the little creek about half way through, so they could cool off and rest a bit.

We spent a few hours on the 4th at a nice area zoo – and it was even free! The weather was great, and we were able to find a parking spot easily – and really enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals. And getting a giant pretzel and a slushie, too, of course.
